Can I extend my trial period?

The trial period is fixed at 30 days or 30,000 words (whichever comes first.) To continue using Arcane Scribe after your trial expires, you’ll need to purchase a license to unlock your application.

Is there a Mac version available?

Not natively, but you can use Arcane Scribe in Parallels on Mac if you have Windows installed. We may consider a native Mac version if there’s enough interest. See our Discord #feature-requests channel to express interest. No purchase necessary to join our community.

How do I purchase a license? When your trial ends, you’ll receive a link to return to our website and purchase a license key to unlock your installed application. But you can click the “Purchase Full Version” button below at any time if you don’t want to be interrupted.

How many computers can I install Arcane Scribe on?

Your license includes three simultaneous installations. To install on additional devices, you’ll need to unregister an existing installation first.

What happens to my data if my trial expires?

All your work remains intact and accessible once you purchase a license. Nothing is lost when transitioning from trial to full version.

Do you support multiple languages?

Yes, we support: English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Português (Brasil).

Why do I see a “Windows protected your PC” message when installing your software?

When you download our software, you may see a message saying “Windows protected your PC” or “Windows SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting.” This is normal for software signed with an OV (Organization Validation) certificate like ours.

This warning appears because our company is new and the application isn’t yet in Microsoft’s database of commonly-downloaded software, not because there’s anything harmful about our program.

To proceed with installation:

Click “More info” on the warning dialog
Click “Run anyway”

Our software is signed with a trusted OV certificate, verifying our organization’s identity. This ensures the software you’re receiving is authentic and hasn’t been tampered with.
